Body and Appearance

He's one of the tallest characters in the series. Aside from Iron man anyways. But as far as students go in class two, then yes he's pretty tall. He's also right in the middle. He's not too fat or too skinny. Alsooo I'd have to say he's kind of muscular, but only slightly.

Sixteen.
❦ Describe his posture. Does he carry himself well or does he slouch?
He carries himself sort of well? When he's giving speeches anyways. But other then that he loves to slouch.
❦ How is his health? Is he fit or out of shape? Any illnesses or conditions? Any physical disabilities?
He's pretty healthy, of course he could do more to be in shape. As far as any illnesses or disabilities goes, he's got nothing.
❦ How does he move? Is he clumsy, graceful, tense, fluid?
His movements are pretty fluid. Well, as fluid as a leader's movements should be. aha.
❦ How attractive is this character physically? How does he perceive himself in the mirror?
He doesn't really waste time in the mirror wondering how hot he is. It's not really on his mind. But he is semi attractive!

He's got a clear complexion and is pretty tan.

He's got short, spikey gelled red hair.

Red! Almost the same shade as his hair... :|a

Not really :|a

His temples, most definitely.

His clothes are pretty casual, he's got a few dressy outfits, but that's about it. His clothes are pretty neutral too, now that I think about it.

Yep!
❦ Does he dress the same on the job as he does in his free time? If not, what are the differences?
Seeing as he's got to wear a uniform for school, no. He doesn't seem to be a fan of dressing up as you can tell by the absence of his tie.

Boxers. Most definitely.
Speech
❦ What does this character's voice sound like? High-pitched, deep, hoarse?
He's not exactly Mr. Deep throat, but his voice is deeper compared to his friends.
❦ How does he normally speak? Loud, soft, fast, evenly? Does he talk easily, or does he hesitate?
He's an easy talker and kind of speaks at a normal pace and tone. He'll get louder if he's talking about something that pumps him up.
❦ Does the character have a distinct accent or dialect? Any individual quirks of pronunciation? Any, like, you know, verbal tics?
In the Japanese version it sounds like he has some kind of dialect accent, but pffft if I know what it is. ;; As for verbal tics he doesn't necessarily have any. But he does like clipping his words off because he's a lazy punk.

Japanese. He could probably learn another language if he set his mind to it. :\

Nnnnnooope.

Since he has to motivate his class a lot I'd say he's a good impromptu speaker.

He's very eloquent. Even in the face of danger he doesn't really stumble with his wor-- well okay if Shouko were threatening him with a taser, then yeah he'd stumble over his words. But any other kind of danger, he's completely calm.
Mental and Emotional
❦ How intelligent is this character? Is he book-smart or street-smart?
Both! But only the later if he really puts his all into things. He has a good head on his shoulders and can get himself out of tough situations when needed.
❦ Does he think on his feet, or does he need time to deliberate?
Both. But it depends on the situation. If he was in a pinch he'd obviously would think on his feet and come up with a quick temporary solution to get himself out of it. But if he had the time to plot, he'd take it and use it to the extent.
❦ Describe the character's thought process. Is he more logical, or more intuitive? Idealistic or practical?
A good mixture of the two. His mind jumps from one thing to the next and he is always coming up with something. He tends to favor idealistic strategies though and loves tripping up his opponents.

He iss in his second year in in high school.
❦ What are his areas of expertise? What, if anything, is he interested in learning more about?
Strategics is his thing. He can come up with a million and one different things until he turns blue in the face. But it all depends on the situation and what's at stake.

He's definitely an extrovert!
❦ Describe the character's temperament. Is he even-tempered or does he have mood swings? Cheerful or melancholy? Laid-back or driven?
He's really laid back and even tempered. It takes a lot of messing around with his things or friends to rile him up.

He meets it head on. Trip him up a little and he'll throw something else just as unexpecting your way.

Act.
❦ Which is his default: fight or flight?
Running away from the problem isn't what a guy like Akihisa would do. And if he were to run away from something then he wouldn't be on Akihisa's level anymore.

He takes a joke as best as the next guy. But when the joke turns into something personal theen who knows.

❦ What moments in this character's life have defined him as a person?
Making the decision to take the stand for Shouko (who was only trying to protect him) when they were younger, and for standing up for her beliefs during that wedding trial.
❦ What does he fear?
Nothing... really. I guess he does have a small fear of Shouko getting hurt by either something stupid he does or someone else does. But other then that he's not really afraid of mu-- no. he is afraid of getting physically hurt by her.
❦ What are his hopes or aspirations?
To one day make tests a thing of the past. Tests shouldn't dictate a persons future and it shouldn't be used as a means of showing how much a person knows.
❦ What is something he doesn't want anyone to find out about him?
That he might actually have feelings for Shouko???
Relationships
❦ Describe this character's relationship with his parents.
He has a decent relationship with his mom. Not entirely sure where his dad is. His mother does seem a bit spacey, but they seem to get along-- so long as she isn't cooking anything.
❦ Does the character have any siblings? What is their relationship like?
Nope! No mention of any siblings anywhere.
❦ Are there other blood relatives to whom he is close? Are there ones he can't stand?
Nor any mention of insane blood relatives...
❦ Who is the character's best friend? How did they meet?
While he tries his hardest to avoid her, he does consider Shouko a friend. He met her in elementary school. And I want to say that he met his heterosexual life partner, Akihisa Yoshii in middle school. Because they seem to know each other on the first day of high school.

Yep, his other classmates probably. Most definitely the others he fights with in Summon wars.
❦ Does he make friends easily, or does he have trouble getting along with people?
Yep! He's a pretty easy going guy and a lot of people perceive him as a fair and kind. He also isn't the kind to judge people for who they are or where they come from, and treats everybody the same.

Friends. If his mom needed his help she would let him know, and of course he would do anything for her if she were in true trouble. But-- he's totally got their back.

He's single.

Nope, and if he were Shouko would probably skin him alive.

Most definitely a 1. Akihisa is the only one for him when it comes to men-- But no, I kid. He's a 0. Other people like pairing him up with Akihisa because of their compatibility.

He'd love to have it, but with the right person and only when the time is right.

Not really? But I honestly wouldn't know as religion isn't something that's important in the series.

Don't most people have personal codes? His is to not run away from the face of danger and to just... be a man about things. This came along right when Shouko was getting picked on by his bullies

He doesn't really care about what a persons beliefs are. He isn't going to sit there and judge someone for something they believe in or treat them differently because they prefer something else. That's the way he is and that's the way he works.

Ffffrom the looks of it, it looks like he lives a pretty comfortable life? I guess he's a in the middle class? :|a

Nothing much. He comes up with strategies, but I wouldn't really call that a lifestyle... And it's not like he does it for a living.

Hanging out and having a good time with his friends. And hiding his marriage certificate.

Unlike his heterosexual life partner, he eats three meals a day. A full three meals, too. He does seem to avoid anything his mother cooks though. So she probably can't cook to save her life.
