strategizer: (IT CAN'T END LIKE THIS)

the second plan

[So Yuuji had the great idea to leave Fii the fox Vulpix out of her pokéball all by her lonesome while he got more firewood. Hey, he wasn't the best when it came to outside camping, but he at least knew some things to get by in this cold weather. That and having fire pokémon to accompany you sure did help a lot.

Anyways. right. on to the pokémon.

Fii the Vulpix decided that it would somehow be cool to nose around her trainer's belongings. During her investigation she stumbled across his gear. Nosing it some she accidentally turned on the voice recording option. A couple of minutes pass by.]

Hey what are you-- NO FII DON'T--

[and she did. not really expecting her trainer to return so shortly she accidentally set everything that was in the bag on fire out of reflex. good bye gear, it lived such a short life. After quick and multiple trips to a water source the fire managed to diminish.]

Man, I shoulda called you Noin if I knew you were gonna be this spacey. [he sighs as he digs around in the bag somewhere and unzips one of the pockets.] ouch, man this is still hot. [...] Damn I can't press anything.

Does anyone know if they've got... places to fix these things up?

Dunno about 'fixing things up', but as someone who speaks from experience, I can tell you that it's probably a good idea to train your fox thing not to do that.

Gets pretty tiresome to put out fires after awhile.

Well, probably not by hand, anyway. You should be able to pick up a new one at the mart if you can make it that far.

And uh...

Wellp.

[The camera's view shifts to show a shaggy behemoth of a Growlithe lying sprawled on the floor like a big fur rug.]

Things tend to ignite when he sneezes.

I've gotten sort of used to it.

[As awful as that was to deal with as someone who's scared of fire, it had done a hell of a job desensitizing her.]

They're not too expensive. I don't remember offhand, but unless you're like... FLAT-OUT BROKE, it shouldn't be a big deal.

And... yeah.

He's, uh... he's a handful. I'll say that much.
foolishwren: not to worry, i have a permit. *flashes piece of paper that just says "I do what I want"* ("HEY! Those are dangerous chemicals!")

Most Fire types seem to be from what I've seen.

[Except for her Rapidash, oddly. But she sure as hell wasn't complaining. No pyrophobe needs an out-of-control, Thoroughbred-sized unicorn tearing around and setting things on fire.]

Depends on the individual, I guess, but...
foolishwren: like what if you tried to sue obama and you just got a letter back saying "no" and he came to your house and did the worm (can you even sue the president)

But they all tend to make things ignite at inconvenient times.
